Being a photographer and a blogger I’ve been to many Photo-walks , Photography meets and blogger meets . When Archit , my friend told me the idea of Inkspell and told me to cover this event , in my mind I was like “ Well , I will get bored as I love Bengali Literature and it’s about English “ but trust me as the event started I gained interest and enjoyed a lot
The Inkspell Meet Vol.1 was a literary meet organized y a group of school and college students who decided to have a literary different from others.
On the 12th June Inkspell held its first meet at Asha Kunj . After a round of introductions we had the quiz prelims. The Literary Quiz was conducted by one of the finest quizzers in our country Surya Sekhar Chakraborty .The quiz was won by Archit Majumdar and Sayar Bannerjee. This was followed by Poetry Slam competition. In the poetry slam the topic was “Glamour” on which the participants wrote a poem which was recited by them later. The best poem was by (swarnava mention the name). After a five minute short break we moved on into the Terribly Tiny Tales. This was a very interesting event. In this event the participants were given a few words which they had to use at least one word and write a short tale on it. This event gave some freaking and funny tales though.
Last but not the least we had an open discussion on (Swarnava mention the topic) for almost Forty-five minutes .It was great to see the enthusiasm of the participants. Not only students but also people from different spheres liked it a lot and congratulated the organizers for this innovative concept and said that they look forward to Inkspell’s literary meets and encouraged them to continue this. The day came to an end with the group Photograph.
Overall it was a grand success.
